A human being, being human. A human doing, human going. Journeying inward and onward.
I was born in Baltimore into a family that taught big love.
I was small town raised, but grew up in The City. I graduated from NYU, lived among the ample hills of Brooklyn, danced the night, did the rise and grind and earned the title of New Yorker after a decade riding the subway.
I’ve been foreign places, seen strange places, lived in unusual places. Still gotta go places. Wanna visit too many places.
I’ve never met a museum I didn’t like, books can feel like home, performance is a panacea. The arts are the ultimate catharsis.
The West eventually called me and I landed in California. I suppose Mother Nature yearned for some time with her urban son.
Today, I’ve washed ashore in Provincetown, MA where the Pilgrams once landed and the Nauset people once swam. I listen to the birds. I follow the tides.
